Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum in Shade 52 Vanilla (+ Swatches)

I'm sure everyone has heard of and loves the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation (eBay £7.99) so when I heard that Bourjois had released a follow up I was excited to try it out.

About: Give your skin a boost of radiance with Bourjois’ Healthy Mix Serum Gel foundation with a vitamin-rich fruit therapy formula for an even complexion and an instant anti-fatigue result! It's fresh and instant blending gel texture blends and glides onto the skin for an even, natural finish with no mask effect. Imperfections are erased, signs of fatigue are smoothed and the skin’s radiance is boosted for up to 16 hours. Its instant anti-fatigue vitamin-rich fruit therapy formula is made from a fruity blend of litchi, goji berries and pomegranates. Available in 6 radiance-boosting shades.

The serum gives a finish which isn't too heavy and is comparable to a tinted moisturiser with more added benefits. I usually apply it in the morning after moisturising and I find that the serum lasts all day and doesn't leave me feeling greasy or oily around my t-zone like some other similar products do. I can't say whether it makes me look less tired or not but it does make me feel a little more presentable to the world without the use of foundation. I'm still undecided as to whether I prefer the serum or the foundation (expect a side by side review of the two products soon) but for day-to-day use when I need a quick go to product this serum is definitely it.

What do you think of the new Bourjois Paris Healthy Mix Serum?

  1. I really enjoy the foundation and was wondering what the gel formulation would be like, it doesn't seem very different though x

  4. It's not too much different. The formula feels much lighter and the coverage is less than the foundation. x

  5. I'm shocked how well it sunk in and matched my skin considering it was a shade darker than I'd usually go for. x
